RTO maintenance
RTO systems are often the beating heart of emission reduction and heat recovery processes within production environments. These systems operate at high temperatures, intensively and continuously, making maintenance essential for operational reliability.
At Cervitech, we take a holistic approach to this. We not only perform regular maintenance, but combine it with:

Insight into risks
A well-maintained installation starts with insight. That is why we carry out periodic inspections that go beyond mere visual checks. We monitor critical parameters, analyze temperature profiles, and assess the performance of burners and gas flows.
Our inspections provide you with certainty regarding the technical condition of your system and help prevent risks, unnecessary downtime, or deviations at an early stage.
Maintenance, inspection and testing of gas installations (Scope 5)
Gas-fired systems require specialist knowledge – not only in terms of technology, but also regarding safety and regulations. Cervitech performs maintenance and inspections in accordance with SCIOS Scope 5, a recognized standard for gas installations in industrial applications.
This means that we not only perform maintenance, but also inspect and document in accordance with the requirements set by insurers and laws and regulations. This includes, among other things:
- Maintenance of gas burners
- Inspections and testing of gas pipelines
- Inspection and maintenance of gas lines
- Maintenance and overhaul of printing presses

More than routine work
A properly functioning gas burner and a correct gas line are crucial for energy efficiency and process stability. Cervitech looks beyond routine maintenance; we analyze combustion performance, optimize burner settings, and ensure that all components are perfectly aligned.
By doing so, we not only prevent malfunctions, but also increase efficiency and safety within your processes.
Gasdetection
In industrial processes where solvents are released, reliable gas detection is essential for a safe working environment. Cervitech supplies and maintains gas detection systems that continuously monitor whether the solvent concentration remains within safe limits.
Safety is determined by the LEL (Lower Explosion Level), the minimum amount of gas in air at which an explosion can occur. At a concentration of BV 59 grams of ethanol per cubic meter of air, the 100% LEL is reached, the point at which a spontaneous explosion is possible.
To prevent risks, a generous safety margin is maintained in practice. When the concentration reaches 20% of the LEL, a pre-alarm is activated. If this rises further to 25%, installations are automatically shut down to prevent dangerous situations. This monitoring is carried out using accurate LEL detectors that continuously measure the gas concentration.
Cervitech supplies these detectors and ensures that they continue to function reliably. Because accuracy is crucial for safety, the sensors must be calibrated annually. During this maintenance, we check and calibrate the equipment so that it continues to meet applicable safety standards and offers optimal protection.
