Berry Global UK

In Worcester, there's a production facility for Berry Global, a sister factory to Berry's Hardenberg location, where we successfully installed a new RTO this year. After the successful project in Hardenberg, the new project in Worcester has also been awarded to us, CERVITECH BV and RELOX GMBH. This project consists of three parts:

Projectmanagement
CERVITECH is overseeing the entire project, partly from the Netherlands and partly from England. We work with the client to ensure that everything goes according to plan and that the specifications meet the required standards.

Upgrade of the drying system on the flexographic printing presses.
The drying system on the four flexographic printing presses is not yet optimal, particularly in terms of energy consumption. While the ink dries well, the energy efficiency for both the presses and the RTO can be improved. CERVITECH is making modifications to the piping on all four machines, which should lead to significant improvements.

The effect is a smaller airflow to the RTO, resulting in a higher concentration of solvent. This leads to a reduced need for gas in the printing press and allows the RTO to reach autothermic operation more quickly.

Delivery, installation, and commissioning of a new RTO.
RELOX from Bremerhaven supplies a new RTO. The delivery and installation are conducted under the supervision of CERVITECH BV. Additionally, CERVITECH is responsible for starting up the RTO and connecting it to the production machines. Ultimately, CERVITECH ensures final delivery to the client.
