AFB Oss

AFB Oss, a leading producer of animal nutrition ingredients, has recently taken significant steps to enhance the reliability and efficiency of its facilities. A major renovation project was successfully completed late last year in collaboration with Cervitech and partners. Since then, there have been no further breakdowns—a testament to the enduring quality of the work performed.

Successful renovation of AIRPROTECH afterburner

The project focused on the AIRPROTECH afterburner, a critical system. Cervitech undertook the complete modernization of the system. The existing 110-volt installation was replaced with a safer and more efficient 24-volt and 220-volt system. In addition, the entire gas train was renewed, the exterior of the system underwent a thorough refurbishment, and annual maintenance was carried out. All this was achieved in close cooperation with partners Smultech, FRK Multiservice, and Kiso. Thanks to this joint effort, the installation has operated without any malfunctions ever since.

The next step

Following this successful renovation, Cervitech is once again carrying out maintenance work at AFB Oss during week 20. This time, the project involves an extensive mechanical overhaul of the air distribution chambers. Various essential parts are being addressed, including bearings, bronze bushings, linkages, valves, and other mechanical components. This overhaul is part of a preventive maintenance program aimed at keeping AFB Oss’s installations in optimal condition and preventing unplanned downtime.

Cervitech not only delivers high-quality technical solutions but also fosters long-term partnerships built on trust, quality, and tailored service. By combining targeted maintenance with technological innovation, AFB Oss ensures reliable and efficient operations—both now and in the future.
