As a Junior Calculator, you'll have the opportunity to develop into a fully qualified calculator. Under the guidance of an experienced colleague, you'll learn step-by-step everything about analyzing, calculating, and preparing projects. Our assignments include both new construction and renovation projects in residential and commercial buildings. You'll play a key role in preparing accurate calculations that contribute to the success of our projects.
The function
Together with an experienced calculator you will work on:
- Analyzing quote requests and clarifying any ambiguities.
- Determining the scope and nature of projects.
- Calculating required materials, man-hours and lead time.
- Drawing up cost estimates using standards and calculation programs.
- Consult with sellers and implementers about the implementation details.
- Evaluating quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Adjusting quotes in case of changes and drawing up sales quotes.
- Accurately documenting work and monitoring price developments.
- Processing data in the calculation system and working according to planning.
You will also participate in work meetings and stay informed of developments in your field, including legislation and regulations regarding safety and the environment.
We ask
- A completed construction education at MBO+ or HBO level.
- At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations, including safety and the environment.
