Next step in sustainable production at Amcor

Following the successful realization of the RTO at Amcor, Cervitech is once again taking an important step in further increasing the sustainability of the production process.

This summer, a new project is starting involving the delivery, installation, and commissioning of an innovative heat exchanger. Whereas traditionally gas is used for the drying process of printed matter, hot water will be used in this situation.

As a result, residual heat is efficiently utilized for drying ink in production. This not only results in significant energy savings but also contributes to a further reduction of emissions and a more sustainable production process.

With this expansion, the existing RTO installation is even better integrated into the production environment, and Amcor continues to meet the strictest environmental requirements, while efficiency is simultaneously increased.
