Top result emission test at Horn & Bauer

The collaboration between Cervitech BV and Horn & Bauer in Schwalmstadt, Germany, continues to do good. On May 8, an official emission measurement was performed on the recently commissioned afterburner. The results? Excellent.

According to the current official measurement protocol, three separate measurements of 30 minutes were carried out. On average, a TOC value (Total C) of only 4 mg/Nm³ was determined – far below the permitted limit value of 20 mg/Nm³.

What is unique is that in the German state of Hesse not only the average must remain below the standard, but also all peak values. This stricter regional requirement was also met.

The customer is very satisfied with the operation of the system and the collaboration with Cervitech. The collaboration is therefore also extended to the rest of the factory.

This successful measurement marks another important step in Horn & Bauer's sustainability process, in which Cervitech plays a central role.
